In collaboration with Viacom18, we crafted the title sequence and episodic artworks for the web series 'Asur,' starring Arshad Warsi. Set in Varanasi, the series follows a CBI agent's thrilling adventures, immersing viewers in a world of mystery. Through innovative visuals and design, we enhanced the series' essence, enriching the audience's viewing experience.

Concept
The idea was to depict the isolated town of Rudrakund, lacated in the Himalias with a taste of an ominous presence. The title montage has visuals that have been inspired directly from the show, intercut with darker undertones that hint at something sinister brewing at the heart of the town.
Ep. 1
In the pilot episode, titled "The Dead Can Talk”, a sinister attack unveils the onset of a reign of terror. To depict the Asur's mask, we ingeniously utilised the coordinates embedded within the implants, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative. The backdrop features a striking silhouette of a Tibetan Monastery, a poignant symbol that ties into the storyline, especially as DJ, the character played by Arshad Warsi finds himself within its enigmatic confines

"The Past, the Present, and the Future," our design approach centered around incorporating the Nakshatra, celestial signs that hold.

"Burning the Forest," we immerse viewers in Rasul's character and his relationship with the blind girls. The focal point is the Kali and Kaliyuga book, symbolising crucial themes within the narrative. We've interwoven code and Braille throughout the frame, adding layers of complexity and depth to the artwork

"Designing the Future," Nusrat's forensic breakthrough exposes Rasul's true character. Rasul's sacrifice for Shubh's cause sets off a chain of events, leading to Nusrat's shocking abduction.Within the artwork, we've seamlessly integrated symbols like DNA structures and bullets, echoing key elements & heightening the narrative intensity.

In this pivotal episode, the shattering of the mask unveils Shubh's true identity, marking the culmination of his plan and heralding total annihilation. This revelation exposes the mastermind behind the puppetry, unraveling the identity of the true orchestrator.

In a cascade of revelations, each discovery triggers the next, setting off a chain reaction akin to a Domino Effect. This has been unfolded in the title sequence by picking out domino blocks and the human mind. The meticulous planning and skillful orchestration behind Shubh's actions leave the rest of the cast reeling in shock.

In this pivotal episode, the intertwining themes of violence, destruction, the ascent of an idol, and the revelation of the mastermind behind the mask converge, shaping the narrative's dramatic reveal. The relentless pursuit of the investigating team members poses a formidable challenge to Shubh's authority.

Drawing upon a myriad of symbolic design elements, including troupes and contrasting motions, we've crafted a dynamic narrative that immerses viewers in the heart of the dilemma. The tunnel design sets the stage for contrasting motions, juxtaposed with the watchful balls, evoking a sense of uncertainty and anticipation.
